Dr. Bob MacInnis
Dentist & Founder
Dr. Bob MacInnis graduated in 1979 from the University of Toronto. With a thriving career in dentistry spanning private practice, training, and consulting, he established one of Canada’s most successful group dental practices. Dr. MacInnis remains dedicated to dentistry, particularly in team building, cosmetics, and surgery. His passion lies in introducing his Patient and Team-Centered Model to the Orillia community through Miller Dental Care, a collaboration with his daughter, Lesley Miller and her husband, Dr. Matt Miller.
Dr. Sam So, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Sam So is a General Dentist at Miller Dental Care in Orillia. Dr. So always wanted to be the dentist to whom people didn’t fear going. Throughout his life, he has been the recipient of all manner of dental treatments, from fillings to braces and even extensive jaw surgeries. So, he knows exactly how it feels to be in the chair. Dr. So is a compassionate man in all walks of life.
Dr. So is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, from which he received his Bachelor of Science as well as his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. So has a specific focus on restorative dental care, sedation and oral surgery. Dr. So is also a part-time clinical professor at the University of Western Ontario as part of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Division.
Dr. So has been privileged with the opportunity to take part in numerous international volunteer experiences during his career. These include performing dental procedures in Guatemala and Colombia as well as being a hospital dentist in northern Ontario, where he served the underserved Moose Factory Native Reserve population.

Dr. Kehzad Kakavand
Dentist
Dr. Kakavand completed his Bachelor of Dentistry at Griffith University in Australia after first earning a degree in Biomedical Engineering at Carleton University in Ottawa. His strong academic background, combined with his recognition for academic excellence, reflects his dedication to both science and patient care.
Dr. Kakavand has a special interest in oral surgery and surgical extractions, and he is continually expanding his skills in these areas. He is passionate about providing gentle, high-quality care and takes pride in making sure his patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Kakavand enjoys exploring photography, painting, and woodworking, creative pursuits that sharpen the fine motor skills he applies every day in dentistry. He also hopes to one day travel internationally to deliver free dental care to underserved communities and contribute to innovations that improve patient outcomes in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Hayes Leung, MESc, DD
Denturist
Mr. Hayes Leung, MESc, DD, is a distinguished denturist whose rare combination of academic excellence, advanced clinical mastery, and genuine compassion sets a standard few in the profession attain. He is delighted to offer this exceptional level of care to the citizens of Orillia, Ontario, and the surrounding townships and communities.
He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science specializing in Neuroscience and Integrative Biology from the University of Toronto, followed by a Master’s degree in Environmental Science. He then trained at George Brown College, graduating at the top of his class and receiving the prestigious A.J. (Jim) McGuire Memorial Award from the Denturist Association of Ontario, an early marker of the excellence that would define his career.
What truly elevates Mr. Leung is his relentless pursuit of mastery. He is the first denturist in Ontario to earn certifications in Suction Effective Mandibular Complete Denture (SEMCD), CQR Denture techniques (including instructor-level certification), and the OM Denture System (Occlusal Map). He is also BPS (Biofunctional Prosthetic System) certified. These advanced methods enable him to craft dentures with exceptional retention and stability, often eliminating the need for adhesives, while delivering a natural, biofunctional bite that restores comfort, confidence, and quality of life. He continues refining his expertise in implant-supported dentures and related techniques.
Beyond technical skill, Mr. Leung’s care is deeply personal. From a young age, frequent dental visits sparked a lifelong affinity for helping others smile and eat with ease. He served the people of the Niagara Region between 2018 and 2025 with a clear philosophy: provide high-quality, customized dentures that improve or maintain the wearer’s quality of life, while fostering a warm, supportive environment for patients, staff, and family. He collaborates with dental teams across Ontario (including practices in Markham, Toronto, Hamilton, and beyond) and generously gives back by teaching aspiring denturists and offering educational outreach at nursing and senior residences.
